My experience fuels my unwavering commitment to this industry. At its core, this work is about people-centered values. It’s what drives my passion for helping hospitals access the life-saving medications their patients urgently need.
Early in my career, I had the opportunity to work closely with a pharmacist at a well-respected infusion clinic in Texas. Together, we were focused on one mission: securing a critical medication for patients fighting testicular cancer—a drug that had been on an extended backorder for months.
One day, she received a call from a former pharmacy school classmate, now working at a major hospital system in the Northeast. He was desperately seeking that same medication for one of his patients. She connected him with me, hopeful that I could help.
We discussed the patients needs and I shared the pricing with him. He took the information to his leadership for approval. Unfortunately, they couldn’t justify the cost difference. The patient was treated with an alternative medication, but tragically, he lost his battle with cancer.
That experience stays with me. It deepened my resolve and shaped the culture I’ve helped build at Tri-Pharma. We don’t compromise our values.
Our team thrives on mutual respect, honest communication, and shared accountability—supported by a healthy dose of laughter. There’s no gray area here. Just a clear standard for doing the right thing, every time.
